Build and Battle Spaceships in Galactic Junk League

Galactic Junk League is a sci-fi themed game with a heavy emphasis on customisation. You will be able to make a spaceship of your own from an array of galactic junk and then send it off into battle. Will you make a ship with wins the day against its opponents? Or will it turn out to be, well, junk?

Gather Junk, Make Spaceship

Galactic Junk League is one of those games with a premise that is simple but utterly inspired. Gather together all manner of junk found floating in orbit around the planet, and see if you can assemble a worthwhile spaceship out of it. The ship-building aspect of the game takes inspiration from the sandbox genre, as you collect materials and customise your ship to suit your tastes. Some concerns will be purely aesthetic, but others - such as which weapons you give your craft - will impact gameplay.

Send Your Ship into Battle

Once you have put together a ship, you will be able to try out the other aspect of Galactic Junk League: sending your ship into battle. Take to the skies of an alien planet as you fight against another makeshift craft, and hope that the one you built is sturdy enough to survive the conflict. What's more, the multiplayer mode offers capacity for up to seven-versus-seven players!

PROS

  • Sandbox aspect offers almost unlimited ship-building options.
  • Combat mode offers whole new angle for players.

CONS

  • Some players may find the combat controls awkward.
  • Lacks an open world.
